Why Victims Are Reporting Damage from CPAP Machines
Continuous positive airway pressure therapy (CPAP) and ventilator machines are prescribed to help patients who suffer from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) to breathe more easily throughout the night.

- This foam can potentially cause significant health issues for the use of these devices that require long-term and expensive treatments
The Healthline.com website reveals that this has affected approximately 2 million people in the United States.
Dr. Abbas Anwar, a head and neck surgeon at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California, told Healthline that depending on the patient’s condition, the best option may include discontinuing use of the device and finding a replacement.
